Annual Refresher Training: T2/Tabs/Meter/Ins/Hypo/Ggen (18875)
Introduction
Welcome to your Diabetes 4 Disability (D4D) course. I’m Jayne Lehmann, Director of EdHealth Australia and creator of the D4D course.
It is a requirement of NDIS that 12 months after completing the D4D course you complete annual training to ensure you are being able to use the skills effectively to help you in supporting your client with their diabetes.
Contact Group Leader to arrange a session for you to:
- Book to have your skills evaluated in an Online Skills Check
- Ensure you have the equipment and procedures with you for the Online Skills Check
The RN Diabetes Educator will:
- Check your technique and talk to you about your client’s diabetes support needs.
- Ask the RN Diabetes Educator any questions you have regarding your client in the Online Skills Check.
Support is available during business hours: 9am-5pm (Australian Central Daylight Time). After hours and on weekends, send an email with your name, name of client and organisation), contact phone number, and tell us about the issue. We do our best to get back to you, out of hours. At times we will reply on the next business day.
