We love sharing our knowledge about diabetes support for people with a disability!
The fact we work mostly with people with intellectual disability, acquired brain injury and/or psycho-social disability and diabetes, our experiences have built a significant body of knowledge, expertise and insight into the challenges faced by people with cognitive impairment. EdHealth’s input is highly sought after by health and disability organisations.
Director, Jayne Lehmann regularly provides presentations to a range of audiences about the work we do and improving the health of people with a disability.
The SPIDAH project, conducted by the Western Victoria Primary Health Network is one of four Australian Primary Health Network (PHN) projects, funded to improve disability health in Australia. Their work and that of the other three PHN projects are a pilot study to learn how to embed a focus on improving the health of people with a disability across Australia.
Jayne conducted two presentations for the PHNs in April 2023.
