Healthy eating, being physically active and managing stress are seen as a part of a person’s diabetes treatment.

This lesson provides an overview of the importance of lifestyle choices in the management of glucose levels and the positive impact it can have on the future health of people with all types of diabetes. Participants will gain a basic understanding of the three areas of diabetes lifestyle management:

  1. Healthy eating, including how to count carbohydrates
  2. Keeping physically active
  3. Managing stress.

At the end of the lesson is a quiz for you to successfully complete.
