Diabetes 4 Disability (D4D) Course

Despite our best plans, computers and their systems experience glitches and at times user issues stop you moving through the course.

Trouble shooting

1. I can’t connect to the course …

Read the handout sent to you about the course. Follow the instructions and use the link to connect with your Group page to register to do the course. Didn’t receive the information? Click for a copy and use the link your organisation emailed to connect you to the course. Still not working? Contact Support.

2. I can’t move onto the next lesson, or Module in the course.

Have you:

a. Watched the videos to the end

b. Finished every step in the lesson

c. Passed the Quiz with a score over 80%? If not, go back and do it. Still not working? Contact Support.

3. Can’t pass the Module 2 or Module 3 question in which you need to put the steps in the correct order to describe how you use a blood glucose meter or give an insulin injection?

a. Did you print off a copy of the procedure for that skill? You can use them to do the question that asks you to put the procedure steps in order.

If you forgot to print it, here they are again:

 a. BGM Procedure

b.  Insulin injection Procedure

If you don’t have a printer, copy the procedure/s you need, to use your computer desktop, where you can easily access and use it to check the order of your answers to the specific skill. They need to be in the same order as the procedure. Still not working? Contact Support.
