Diabetes 4 Disability Modules 1 + 2

Description

The Diabetes 4 Disability course modules are combined to give support workers the knowledge and skills required to support people with a disability to care for their diabetes. Support workers are encouraged to include the client in their self-care by focusing on what they can do.

Modules:

 

             

You can add other modules to give your support workers the knowledge and skills to match the diabetes management required by the person with diabetes being supported. EdHealth covers all aspects of contemporary diabetes management in their modules.

 

Online Skills Check:

A Registered Nurse Credentialled Diabetes Educator will evaluate the participant’s competency in the use of a blood glucose meter.

Certificate:

Once participants successfully complete their online course and Online Skills Check, a certificate is issued to the organisation to record and then pass onto the participants
